All Insights

Saudi Arabia is the largest employer of Indian workers in the Gulf, with strong demand across construction, oil & gas, and services driven by major national projects.

Which sectors are hiring?

High demand for construction trades, welders and mechanical staff in oil & gas, drivers, technicians, hospitality and facility workers, plus healthcare roles. Skilled, certified workers are selected fastest.

The Saudi work visa & Iqama

Your employer sponsors a work visa; after arrival you receive an Iqama (residence permit) that lets you live and work legally. The visa is tied to your employer, so read your offer carefully.

Documents you’ll need

  • Valid passport (ECR clearance if applicable)
  • Attested education/trade certificates (see our attestation guide)
  • GAMCA medical fitness certificate
  • Experience letters, photos and the signed contract

What to check in your contract

  • Basic salary, allowances and overtime
  • Working hours, weekly off and leave
  • Accommodation, food and transport — who pays
  • Air ticket and contract duration

How the process works

Interview and selection, offer letter, document attestation and medical, visa stamping and emigration clearance, then travel. A registered consultancy handles each step. See the full work-visa process.
