Drivers are always in demand abroad — from light-vehicle and delivery drivers to heavy-vehicle and equipment operators. The right licence is everything.

Light vs heavy licences

Light licences cover cars and small vans; heavy licences cover trucks, buses and trailers and usually pay more. Special categories (tanker, hazardous, equipment) can pay even better.

Licence conversion abroad

Important: most Gulf countries require you to convert your Indian licence to a local one, sometimes with a test. Your employer or agency will guide this after arrival.

Countries hiring drivers

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain hire drivers across delivery, transport, logistics and construction.

Requirements

  • Valid Indian driving licence (correct category)
  • Clean record and relevant experience
  • Valid passport and medical fitness

How to apply

Keep your licence, passport and experience details ready and register with a consultancy that places drivers. We handle the offer, visa and travel.
